# Works

Client work, independent products, open standards, and experiments. Every entry links to a case study covering the problem, what I owned, and what shipped.

## Work

- **UnifyApps Automations** — Product design for the iPaaS and workflow-automation module of an enterprise AI platform. Role: Product Designer, iPaaS & Workflows, 2026–present via ICD. Status: Shipped, in production. → [/works/unifyapps](/works/unifyapps)
- **s'Site** — Wedding sites in two minutes. No code, free, wildcard subdomains. Built on Next.js, Firebase, and Vercel. Role: Design + Build, 2024, solo. Status: Shipped product. → [/works/ssite](/works/ssite)
- **Kolam Builder** — A block-based digital studio for Kolam, the Tamil dot-and-loop threshold art. Place symmetric curve pieces around a grid of dots and a single unbroken line resolves. Up to 15×15, with export. Role: Concept, interaction design, build, 2025, solo. Status: Independent product. → [/works/kolam-builder](/works/kolam-builder)

## Research & Experiments

- **Context Engine** — Open retrieval standard. Hybrid sparse retrieval with .VCB corpus bundles. Cuts inference token load by 97%. Built on 8 papers, MIT license. Role: Research, specification, reference implementation, 2025, solo. Status: Open standard. → [/works/context-engine](/works/context-engine)
- **Design System + Engineering** — A postmortem. I tried to make design-to-dev drift structurally impossible with an agent control plane. It worked, until enterprise complexity outgrew what could be written down. Role: Design Engineer, Jun–Jul 2026, solo. Status: Failed experiment. → [/works/unify-design-system](/works/unify-design-system)
- **Clause** — The second attempt at the same thesis, with the constraint pushed harder: an agent that could only compose UI from components that verifiably trace back to real Figma nodes. Better engineered, identical ceiling. Role: Design systems, agent architecture, engineering, Jul–Aug 2026. Status: Failed experiment, four teammates adopted it. → [/works/clause](/works/clause)
- **File-Native AI Metadata** — A standard for embedding semantic context directly inside files, so AI agents understand what matters before reading a single byte of content. Role: Research, specification, 2025, solo. Status: Open standard. → [/works/file-native-ai-metadata](/works/file-native-ai-metadata)
- **AIDOC** — Token-optimized site maps for AI agents: a compact JSON map at /site.aidoc that cuts 85–95% of the tokens a sitemap costs. This site is compliant. Role: Specification, implementation, and this site's own map, 2025–present, solo. Status: Open standard. → [/works/aidoc](/works/aidoc)
- **Vibe Safe** — One open score, one badge, surfaced where vibe coders actually install, so malicious packages and extensions become visible across the AI-coding ecosystem at once. Role: Research, specification, Jun 2026, solo. Status: Open proposal. → [/works/vibe-safe](/works/vibe-safe)

## Fun

- **Semantic Galaxy** — What a small model sees when you hand it a name. Visualising word embeddings, sparked by Anthropic's Jacobian Lens piece. Role: Concept, data visualisation, Jul 2026, solo. Status: Experiment. → [/works/semantic-galaxy](/works/semantic-galaxy)
- **Musk vs Zuck** — A betting site for the CEO face-off, with a live indicator of who is winning. Role: Design & frontend engineering, two days, solo. Status: Weekend build. → [/works/musk-vs-mark](/works/musk-vs-mark)

## Also worth a look

- **Lapse** — A personal memory layer any AI can read and write. Cloudflare Workers + D1, full OAuth 2.1, MCP for Claude and ChatGPT, plus an iPhone Shortcut for on-device voice capture. I use it daily. Status: Working prototype. → [/works/lapse](/works/lapse) · [lapse.in](https://lapse.in)
- **Vanta White** — A canvas tool for masking HDR video into shapes, circles, polygons, stars and freeform paths, so they glow beyond what a normal screen can reach. Status: Shipped experiment, on Show HN. → [/works/vanta-white](/works/vanta-white)
- **Hari Sans** — A hand-drawn typeface plus a build pipeline that turns your own handwriting into a shippable, FontBakery-checked font. Status: Open project. → [/works/hari-sans](/works/hari-sans)
